Charlene Lanzel Charlene's pinup works only began in 1996, a time from which she began painting pictures of her friends for display in a number of New York Galleries. Charlene herself has worked as a cigarette girl and a Go-Go dancer, something that brought her into contact with her models. It has been said that in order to appreciate her work properly, you Need to see the real artwork (almost lifesized in reality) rather than a smaller picture of it. An acrylic artist, whose images attempt to portray various ages of pinup style from the 40's through the 80's. I personally am not a great fan of this particular style, but must also admit to not having seen the real thing in a gallery so maybe I am missing something, but I prefer the more contemporary artworks of others to these images in this more modern style.
